Good parts, slow tech support

I bought an ODROID-N2+ and an eMMC module. The parts shipped out fast and arrived well-packaged. Everything works great; the board fired right up. My only issue was a question I had about a compatible power supply. I sent an email and it took nearly two days to get a response. Not a huge deal since I figured it out myself, but it could be quicker. Overall, a solid place to get SBCs, just don't expect instant answers to tech questions.

Consistent quality, reliable service

This was my third order from Ameridroid, and they're always consistent. My previous orders were for a Khadas VIM4 and some accessories, and this time I got an Orange Pi 5 with a case and a cooling fan. The shipping is always reliable, usually 4-5 business days to California, which is fine for me. Products are always well-packaged and exactly as described on the website. I appreciate that their stock levels are usually accurate too. I've never had to deal with returns or anything, so I can't speak to that, but for just getting the parts I need, they're my go-to. Good prices, especially compared to some other distributors I've used in the past. They've earned my repeat business.

Nah, most coupons, especially those signup ones, won't stack with clearance or already discounted items. It's usually one deal per order.

I tried to use a first-time buyer discount on an open-box Rock Pi once and it didn't work. Think they usually mean only one promo at a time. The system will probably tell you at checkout if it's not allowed.

Hey guys, thinking about grabbing an ODROID-N2+ for a home server project. Does anyone know if AmeriDroid is legit? Like, are their boards genuine Hardkernel stuff?

They're an authorized Hardkernel distributor, so no worries there. I think they even mention it on their site somewhere if you dig around. Got a couple of Pine64 boards from them too, all good.

From what I remember, US shipping is usually pretty fast, like 3-5 business days. Depends on the option you pick at checkout though.

I'm in California and usually get my stuff within a week, even with standard shipping. NYC might be a bit quicker given it's a major hub. You should be alright.

Adafruit is more DIY, lots of tutorials and their own stuff. AmeriDroid is great for specific SBCs like ODROID and RockPi, usually better pricing on those. Depends what you need.

AmeriDroid focuses more on the actual boards and their specific accessories. Adafruit has a wider range of general electronics and breakout boards. If you know exactly what SBC you want, AmeriDroid often has it in stock faster.
